1. Scope
This policy explains how to cancel any service purchased from World Atlantus LLC, including phone numbers (DID and toll-free), hosted PBX seats, dialer and contact-centre subscriptions, messaging, and voice termination. It applies alongside our Terms of Use and Refund Policy.
2. How to Cancel
Send a cancellation request by either of the following routes. We do not require a phone call, and we will not ask you to complete a retention process before actioning it.
- Email: sales@worldatlantus.com from the address on the account, with the subject line “Cancellation Request”.
- Mail: World Atlantus LLC, 54 Lolly Lane, Centereach, NY 11720, USA.
Please include your account name, the email address on the account, and which services you want cancelled — all of them, or specific numbers or seats. We confirm every cancellation in writing by email within 2 business days. If you do not receive that confirmation, contact us before your next billing date so the request is not missed.
3. Notice Period and Final Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; there is no separate notice period and no cancellation fee.
- Requests received at least 3 business days before your renewal date stop that renewal. Requests received inside that window may not stop a renewal already in process; where that happens, the charge is refunded under our Refund Policy.
- Usage delivered before the cancellation takes effect — calls carried and messages sent — is invoiced in the normal way on your final invoice.
- You keep full access to the service until the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. What Happens to Your Phone Numbers
- You may port your numbers to another provider at any time. We do not block, delay, or charge a penalty for porting away.
- Tell us you intend to port before the service ends. We hold cancelled numbers for 30 days after the service end date so a port-out can complete.
- After 30 days, numbers are released back to the carrier or numbering authority and cannot be recovered. Once released, a number may be reassigned to another customer.
- Port-out requires that the account has no outstanding balance for services already delivered.
5. What Happens to Your Data
- Call detail records, recordings, messaging logs, and configuration remain available for export for 30 days after cancellation.
- After 30 days, customer data is deleted from active systems, and from backups within a further 90 days, except where we are required to keep records to meet legal, tax, or telecoms regulatory obligations.
- You may request deletion sooner, or request an export of your data, by writing to sales@worldatlantus.com. Data handling is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
6. Suspension and Cancellation by Us
We may suspend or cancel a service for non-payment, or for use that breaches our Terms of Use or applicable telecoms regulations — including illegal robocalling, caller ID spoofing, or presenting a caller ID the customer is not authorised to use. Where circumstances allow, we give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue first. The number-retention and data-retention periods in sections 4 and 5 apply in the same way.
7. Reactivation
You can reactivate a cancelled account within 30 days by contacting us, subject to number availability. Numbers already released back to the carrier cannot be restored.
